Destination Imagination

Destination Imagination (affectionately known as DI) is an exhilarating after-school activity in which students work in teams to solve mind-bending Challenges and present their solutions at Tournaments. Destination Imagination® is the world's largest creative problem-solving program and includes kindergarten through college-aged student participants. DI participants from all 50 states and over 30 countries develop life skills while solving challenges through their unique hands-on experiences in the sciences, technology, mechanics, engineering, theater, improvisation, goal setting, time and budget management, team building, and leadership. The ultimate goal of Destination Imagination® is to teach participants that through their creativity, teamwork, perseverance and a little bit of Duct Tape, they can develop creative solutions to complex problems completely on their own!

Our Farmington Public Schools teams (I LOVE DI) compete within the Michigan Creativity (MICA) affiliate, Region 1 and are supported by their individual schools PTA/PTSAs, Farmington PTA Council the Farmington/Farmington Hills Education Foundation. individual donors and our corporate sponsors.
